Playing against a top ranked team, CFC100 Jett Elad’s St Ignatius Wildcats, Clarkson was dominated on the line of scrimmage and when needed their receiving core could not make the big catch. Down 29-0 at half, the final score was 45-13.  Ignatius Head Coach Chuck Kyle commented, “We handled their blitz packages very well, we thought that was going to happen. When you’re still running the ball well, we could fit the blitz with our blockers and our backs were cutting. With that much blitzing, you have to get rid of the ball quickly, and Pat (Ignatius QB) did a nice job with that.”.  CFC100 Brendon Barrow kept his scoring streak alive, this time with a second half 52-yard rushing touchdown.  Clarkson travels to Baltimore to play top 10 ranked St. Francis Academy.

St Joe’s game was postponed to November due to bus damages from the Ottawa tornado.  This week is a scheduled bye.

St. Michael’s Kerry Blues beat soundly the St. Andrew’s College Saints for the Kerry Blues Homecoming this past weekend with a final score of 37-0. They got out to an early lead and dictated the flow and tempo for the entire game. They will face the CFC50 Huron Heights Warriors on the 6th. St. Andrew’s College will also play the Warriors on Oct. 3.

Royal Imperial held on for their first victory against Pennsylvania’s DuBois Beavers by score of 21-14.  The teams were tied 14-14 at half, and the Knights pitched a second half shut out along with scoring the only points, a third quarter touchdown.  The Knights defense held their opponents to 31 rushing yards on 16 attempts and 155 passing yards, intercepting the offense once.  This week the Knights head to Kiski Prep in Pennsylvania.

Upper Canada College had a good day with their solid win, 32-14 over the Trinity College Bears. They will get a bye this up coming week and will go on to face St. Mike’s on Oct. 12th. Trinity College will face St. Andrew’s College on the 13th.

About #CFC10 Non-Public Rankings

The #CFC10 Non-Public rankings are high schools that are not public schools and/or who do not play in Canadian public school leagues. All players must be enrolled in the public or private school for it to be considered a school team and eligible for these rankings. Private schools must have a ministry of education identification number to be considered.

All USA scores must be approved by MaxPreps and opponents must be a VARSITY team. Competitions that MaxPreps does not consider games, like scrimmages and showcases, will not be considered.
