#CFC10 Non-public school rankings (3): Big statement in Ohio

Canada Prep Raiders with a statement win

The Canada Prep Raiders won their second game of the year, this one against a top Ohio team, St. Vincent St. Mary by a score of 27-7.  The American players led the offensive charge, with QB Tyree Brown leading the way with two touchdown passes and one touchdown run.  Both passes were completed to fellow compatriots Ronald Brown and Brandon Brown.  The defense was led by three Canadians and #CFC100 studs Austin Miller,  Isaiah Joseph, and Chervendy Dorsainvil.  The Raiders have a bye this week.

Football North moves back up to second after their best performance of the season against the top ranked division 1 team in Central Ohio, Pickerington Central.  The offense had the ball late and were driving the field to attempt to even the game but ran out of time making the final 17-9.  The defense had a solid game with strong performances by #CFC100 DB Khalil Wilson and LB Tyrell Richards, both who are improving every week.  Five turnovers, undisciplined penalties and special team gaffs continue to be the achilles heel for the team.

Royal Imperial Knights lost 38-13 to Hun. Tight End Christian Philips continued his strong campaign with 80 yards on 4 catches.

St. Michael’s College Kerry Blues lost 49-7 to Detroit Catholic Central.

St. Andrew’s College won 59-26, led by #CFCOPC MVP RB Adre Simmonds on offence scoring four TDs. QB Ben Schmidt threw for three TDs and had only one incompletion the entire afternoon. Receiver Lucas La Brier also had a big day on offence with multiple big receptions and a TD on a nice fade in the back of the end zone. Newcomer Ian Maclean also looked tremendous at RB for the Saints. (Source: SAC)
