#CFC10 SUMMER RANKINGS – JV (13): The final countdown and a new #1 to be crowned!!

The top ranked Myers Riders hope that the third time is a charm as they get set to take on #3 Niagara in this weekend’s OVFL JV Championships. For the third consecutive season, head coach Matt Kassner has led his troops to the Wettges Conference title and the subsequent championship game appearance that comes with it. Led by the league’s most dominant player, Myers knocked off the Toronto Thunder 56-28 to earn their berth in finals. JP Cimankinda rushed for…..get this…..421 YARDS on 31 carries and if that wasn’t enough, he also had SIX touchdowns on the ground. In case you were wondering, that’s 13.7 yards per carry and a touchdown every five carries.

In the Adam Conference Championship game, defending champ London was looking to make it back to the OVFL championship game, where they knocked off Myers to capture the 2014 crown. It was not to be as the top ranked and unbeaten ‘Stangs fell in a bit of a shocker. It wasn’t a big surprise that the Niagara Spears won the game, it was more the 28 point differential. When the two teams met in week four, the Jr. Mustangs won a 39-33 OT thriller, but this weekend was anything but with the Spears cruising 33-5.

With only one game left, here are the Week 13 #CFC10 Rankings.
