The Thunderbirds bring in two BC commits to their Class of 2017.
Keon Fuoco, a defensive back from Centennial Secondary School and Jaden Shanley from Terry Fox Secondary School are probably already familiar with one another, but the high school rivals will get a better chance to know each other now that they both committed to the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds.

Fuoco spent his high school career playing with the Centennial Centaurs (BC Secondary Schools Athletics Association) in Coquitlam, BC, which is east of Vancouver. He is 5’11, 170lbs and has played as a free safety as well. In 2016, he was part of a 6-3 Centaurs team that was coming off a winless season the year before. He also earned over ten interceptions in the past season.
Jaden Shanley

Standing at 6’4, 205lbs, Jaden Shanley has probably met Fuoco on the field. The Terry Fox Raven (BCSSFA) is also from Coquitlam, BC. In the 2016 season, the Ravens won the AAA high school football provincial championship against the Notre Dame Jugglers. They narrowly escaped with victory, winning 17-14 in overtime.
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
