#CFC100 ATH pondering trio of NCAA Division 1 offers (VIDEO)

It has been an extremely busy time for #CFC100 Terrell Jana.

Already, the 6’0, 190 pound athlete from Burnaby, British Columbia has received three NCAA Division 1 offers.

Ohio Bobcats got the ball rolling and offered Jana back in early May.  Then, the Nevada Wolfpack were next in late May and exactly one day later, the Rice Owls came to the plate and gave an offer to the #CFC100.

For his part, Jana is thrilled about the trio of offers.

“It assuring that all my work is starting to pay off,” commented the athlete.  “I’m glad coaches from each team see that I can contribute to some great programs.”

However, Jana believes reputation may have played a role in how he got these NCAA Division 1 offers.

“Each team has had players from British Columbia attend their school so I think that might have had an influence on their offers being the first,” offered Jana.

This past season, Jana received a Grade 11 Helmet for his efforts with St. Thomas More Knights of the British Columbia High School Football Association (BCHSFA).

During the 2014 campaign, Jana’s performance in regular season and playoff games caught attention as the BCHSFA recognized his seven times as a BC High School Notable Performance.

Last month, the athlete was ranked on the first edition of the #CFC100 CLASS 2016 rankings.

While he doesn’t know his exact ranking on the #CFC100, Jana will continue to develop his skills.

“I’ll just have to ball out next year to improve wherever I am and keep doing what I’m doing because it’s working so far,” explained the British Columbia standout.   “I’m not too caught up on rankings though.”

“I would have rather won the Provincial Championship last year then be ranked the number 1 player in Canada.”

Ultimately, the #CFC100 will take time to deliberate on all the offers as he will be completing his junior season south of the border with Virginia preparatory team Woodberry Forest Tigers.

“I’m not totally sure when I’m going to make my decision since I have another year to think it over at prep school,” expressed Jana.
