#CFC100: British Columbia’s Best (VIDEO)

With this month’s release of the #CFC100, a new set of players have been introduced as the best of the best in the nation.

Continuing today, CFC will give you a backgrounder on the one that have made the cut in each province.  In this next installment, here is an introduction to the British Columbia #CFC100 players:

BRITISH COLUMBIA #CFC100 RANKED PLAYERS:

Chase Claypool 1

CHASE CLAYPOOL – 6’5, 203 ATH, ABBOTSFORD PANTHERS:

The 6’5, 203 pound athlete from Abbotsford, British Columbia is currently suiting up for Abbotsford Collegiate Panthers of the British Columbia High School Football Association (BCHSFA).

Already Claypool has received more than 12 NCAA offers including ones from Arizona Wildcats (May 8th), Mississippi State Bulldogs (May 5th – first SEC offer), Nebraska Huskers (May 4th), Washington Huskies (May 1st), Oregon Ducks on April 24, Rice Owls (April 15), Nevada Wolfpack, Rutgers, Utah and San Diego State.

His most recent offers came on May 21st. Claypool was offered by both University of Michigan Wolverines and Washington State Cougars the same day.

There is no rest for the CFC #2 ranked player as he will be participating in 7 on 7 events, Sound Mind Sound Body Football Academy in Dakota as well as taking in official visits to Michigan and Michigan State.

Of note – should Claypool signs with Michigan; he will be the first Canadian since 2007 to opt for the NCAA school. The last to sign there was Montrealer Ronaldo Sagesse.
