CFC100 Combine Update: Q&A with CFC100 Evan Nolli

After celebrating a B.C provincial title at  CFC50 New Westminster last season, CFC100 Evan Nolli is looking for a repeat performance in his senior year. He’s already got an NCAA offer on the board.

Nolli on his intoduction to football …

I was first introduced to football through watching the Miami Dolphins play on TV. But the first time getting introduced to play football was in grade 7 where my friend told me to come play flag football. My first memory was my first year playing flag football and winning the provincial championship. After that season I went to play tackle football.

Nolli on when he realized football was his dream sport …

I realized I wanted to seriously pursue football in my first year of high-school ball after my coaches told me I was good enough to play at the next level. Also realizing how great the sport was and the brotherhood I built with my team. I knew I wanted to continue to pursue football.

Nolli on advice he would give grade nine players entering high school …

Train harder! Hit the weight room more often and more intensely! Don’t be afraid to ask questions if you have any, the coaches are there to make you better!

Nolli on what separates him from other prospects …

I play a very old school style of game, I am not afraid to hit. I’m a physically player who doesn’t stop till the whistle is blown. I’m a smart player who can read the plays and follow the ball.

Nolli on the recruiting process so far …

The recruiting process has been very good for me. I’ve been connected with many schools across the country and went on a couple of unofficial tours! I also got a scholarship offer from SFU!

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
