It was a massive day for CFC100 Class of 2023 DE Armel Mukam, who announced his commitment to Stanford.

The 6’4″, 250lbs defensive end prospect originally hails from Quebec where he played high school football at Ecole Secondaire La Magdeleine. Last year he announced he’d be taking his talent down south to play in Virginia at Woodberry Forest Academy, which is where plenty of CFC100 talent have arrived before heading to the NCAA.
Mukam wasted no time attracting attention with offers incoming from Virginia, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Cal-Berkeley, Vanderbilt, Duke and Wake Forest to name a few. In total he was entertaining offers from 22 NCAA programs, but couldn’t resist the allure of becoming a Stanford man in California.
Mukam joins a growing list of Canadian Cardinal commits in recent years including CFC100 WR Elic Ayomanor,Ā CFC100 RB Brendon Barrow and CFC100 DE Aarom Armitage.
