Never say never. Recently announced on social media, CFC100 Ted Kubongo received a division 1 offer to the University of Maine.
Kubongo, had committed to the UBC Thunderbirds for 2017, but has decommitted to go down south to play out his dream of playing in the NCAA.

In a recent article by CFC’s Elizabeth Karchut, “the 6β0, 195lbs five-year veteran played for the Calgary Hilltoppers and the Notre Dame Pride (Calgary High School Athletic Association). He then took a trip to the nationβs capital and played with the St. Matthew Tigers in the National Capital Secondary School Athletic Association. In 2014, he won a city and provincial championship with the Pride. The following year, he was the Prideβs team MVP. This past season, he won a city championship and the OFSAA Metro Bowl.”
