CFC100 DT Sparks announces Big Ten commitment

Names are starting to fly off the board, and today CFC100 JeJuan Sparks made his final move committing to Indiana. The 6’3″, 330lbs defensive tackle originally hails from Toronto, and spent time at St. Francis (N.Y) and CFC10 Clarkson Football North before transferring to Clearwater Academy (FL) prior to the 2018 season.

Sparks was sitting on offers from 16 NCAA programs including Ole Miss, Central Florida and Colorado State, but instead he opted for a more family feel at Indiana. He’ll be joining his former CFC100 teammate Kervens Bonhomme on campus, who’s going into his freshman year with the program, and there’s potential for more with the Hoosiers offering seven other CFC100 prospects this cycle.

In a statement posted on social media, Sparks explained his gratitude throughout the process,

“It’s been a crazy road. But I know this chapter in life has come to an end. This was the best decision for my family, and Indiana University is where I will start my next chapter in life.”

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
