A lot of programs have been swirling around the waters looking for their opportunity to sign CFC100 OL Dominik Di Filippo out of Williston Northampton, MA, but in the end he couldn’t resist the allure of a Harvard education.
The Montreal native began his high school career playing at Charles-Lemoyne, who put together a dominant season in 2019 prior to the pandemic. He was forced to sit out the entire 2020 season due to the lockdowns, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise that allowed him to improve his game on and off the field before finding a new home in Massachusetts to finish his high school studies instead of going the CEGEP route.
He received his first offer from Columbia last November, and then took a lot of camp visits across the Ivy League including Brown, Dartmouth and Penn, with the latter providing his second official offer. It wasn’t until last month when Harvard jumped on the board with an offer as well, and took less than a month for Di Filippo to make his final decision.
The young offensive lineman is the first Canadian prospect to commit to Harvard since we began tracking data back in 2010.
Thank you for all those who helped me along this journey, with that being said Iβm happy to announce my commitment to Harvard University! Beyond grateful! #GoCrimson π΄βͺοΈ @Coach_Joel_Lamb @CoachKKennedy @CoachTimMurphy @coachbeats @WillistonFB @CoachGerry10 @Crim_Recruiting pic.twitter.com/SJweuL1yBO

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
