#CFC100: QB Rourke nets prestigious honour (VIDEO)

#CFC100 top ranked pivot Nathan Rourke is continuing to make waves south of the border.

The offensive standout from Burlington, Ontario has been selected as a first Capitol Hyundai High School Highsman for the 2015 season.

This is quite a prestigious honour for Rourke as his selection puts him in contention for the overall year end High School Highsman honour.

In last week’s 66-8 romp over Coosa Valley, the Edgewood Academy Wildcats pivot completed 13 passes in 16 attempts, amassed 251 passing yards, four passing touchdowns and a rushing major.

With the win, the Wildcats scored their 60th straight win.

Rourke joined the Wildcats this past spring after stints with both the Burlington Stampeders of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC) and Holy Trinity Titans of the Halton Secondary School Athletic Association (HSSAA).

In June, Rourke was ranked the top quarterback (fourth overall) in the first edition of the #CFC100 CLASS2016 RANKINGS.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
