Ajax defensive back joins CWUAA team’s 2016 class
#CFC100 ranked Treshawn Abrahams-Webster will be commence his CIS career in the Prairies.
Recently, the 5’11, 180 pound defensive back from Ajax, Ontario signed with the Calgary Dinos. Ā Abrahams-Webster will join the team for the 2016 CWUAA season.
“I committed to Calgary because I feel that it was the best fit for me academically and athletically,” expressed the defensive standout of his decision. Ā “The coaching at Calgary is great along with the competition and the drive that all the players possess.”
Abrahams-Webster completed a stint with Canada Prep Raiders. Ā In 2015, he registered 20 tackles, five tackles for a loss, six pass breakups, three forced fumbles and a touchdown.
Previous to the Raiders, the defensive back suited up for both the Pickering Trojans of the Lake Ontario Secondary School Athletic Association (LOSSAA) and Ajax-Pickering Dolphins of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).
