After originally announcing his commitment to Air Force, CFC100 receiver Jamall Mensah out of Episcopal (VA) flipped his allegiance joining Rhode Island on National Signing Day.

The 5’11”, 190lbs prospect originally jumped on the rankings in British Columbia where he attended Vancouver College until 2017, and earned a lot of attention down during his time at Episcopal. Before committing to Air Force, he received other offers from Army, William & Mary and local Canadian NCAA program Simon Fraser, but a flurry of action in the new year would change his future forever.
Rhode Island appeared with an offer late in the game on January 21st, with Hampton and Bucknell joining the offer war soon after. In the end, Mensah decided to latch on with the Rams, becoming the first Canadian commit since CFC began tracking data back in 2010.
