Welcome back to another edition of CFC40 Draft Watch. Today we’ll be looking at Montreal-born OL Jonathan “Tow Truck” Denis out of Louisiana Tech, who was recently added to the CFL Draft list so he didn’t appear on the first edition CFC40 rankings, but will certainly be on the next.
Player Overview
Jonathan Denis is currently a an offensive lineman at Louisiana Tech University, though he’s made many stops throughout throughout his collegiate career. The 6’3”, 315lbs interior lineman began his career at Oregon in the COVID-shortened 2020 season, where he redshirted but was still highly regarded as a key piece of the team’s future. Unfortunately, in training camp before the 2021 season kicked off, Denis suffered a knee injury that ended his season before it began. This was particularly unfortunate, given he was getting some reps with the starting group and was penciled in to be one of the next men up.
