For the 4th straight year your Senior Knights have brought home the @HWCDSB championship after being the last men standing in a true battle from whistle to whistle against the Team from Stoney Creek. #OWE #Finish #MoreWith4 #AllBusiness pic.twitter.com/2ARACHJynG

No. 1 St. Thomas More Knights (9-0, 1-0) – STM rolled over Cardinal Newman, 23-3, in the HWCDSB final this past week. This is their 4th straight title and will now go on to play Frank Hayden in one of the GHAC semifinals on the road to OFSAA. We are pretty confident STM’s got this one.
Your Sr. Boys. Go Browns Go! Great season for both the Browns and the Pride. pic.twitter.com/wmIwttDXYe

No. 2 St. Francis Browns (7-0, 2-0) – The Browns repeated history once again in the battle of Calgary with a 25-9 victory over the Notre Dame Pride. In what looked like the ice bowl at McMahon Stadium, the Browns keep the keys to the city and will continue on in the Alberta playdowns. Up next – the CFC50 LCI Rams for the regional semifinal. You know it’s coming – the showdown between Harry Ainlay – who beat CFC50 Salisbury this weekend. But first they will have to get through the Rams.
What an incredible game! LDA Finals are Tuesday at 8:00pm https://t.co/jcVtZNLRtn

No. 3 Catholic Central Crusaders (7-0, 1-1) – CCH beat St. Joseph’s 38-7 in the LDA semifinals and will now play St. Andre Bessette for the London district championship.
No. 4 LeBoldus Golden Suns (9-0) – The Golden Suns have once again returned to the podium as champion in Saskatchewan. With a 28-15 win over Holy Cross from Saskatoon, LeBoldus reminds us all of their championship pedigree and tradition. Congratulations! Read game recap here.
Retour au Bol d'Or juvénile pour le programme de @SJEFOOTBALL. La dernière participation datait de 2006 pour la formation de Charlesbourg. https://t.co/nmyxalmvb3

No. 5 Saint-Jean-Eudes Condors (10-0) – The Condors are on their way back to redemption after last year’s upset. They beat handily Coll. Notre-Dame, 39-2 and will now face Coll. Charles-Lemoyne in the Bol d’Or, who ended up beating Sem. Saint-Francois 30-24 in OT. Unfortunately, we don’t think this provincial final is going to be much of a game as the Condors beat the Dynamics 40-0 in the regular season. But who knows, as we always say, playoffs is all about HOPE!

Who’s getting ranked?
For the tenth year in a row, Canadafootballchat.com (CFC) is pleased to bring you the national high school football rankings known as theΒ CFC50.
The CFC50 rankings considers all conference and non-conference games (in Canada and the United States) while scrimmages are not evaluated (there is no such thing as an exhibition game – those are classified as non-conference games) and forfeit* wins are not considered towards overall record.
How is theΒ CFC50Β evaluated?
Leagues included in rankings: British Columbia AAA Varsity, Alberta Tier One, Saskatchewan 12-man rural / 6A / Schwann, Manitoba AAA Varsity, Ontario OFSAA Bowl AAA qualified teams, Quebec Juvenile Division 1, New Brunswick 12-man, Nova Scotia (all teams excluding CFC25 eligible teams).
TheΒ CFC50Β is a RELATIVE RANKING that considers top tier leagues from all eight high school playing provinces (minimum one team represented from each province) and the strength of the league. Additional criteria used to determine the relative ranking are the ability to accomplish winning a championship, the impact players and performers on that team (ie.Β CFC100s, CDN All-Stars etc.), and a team’s coaching and recent tradition.
The CFC Scouting Bureau consists of CFC Reporters, CFC Scouts, and selected local reporters and scouts who submit local ranking results on a weekly basis. The CFC50 is released every Monday (other than on Holidays) at 12 noon.
