Another great team win tonight! 41-0 and contributions from everyone in all aspects of the game! Great work gentlemen.

No. 1 St. Thomas More Knights (4-0, 1-0) – Three shutouts in a row! This last one 41-0 against St. Mary in Hamilton, Ontario. We aren’t really sure what to say here, but the Knights are well on their way to another championship. We don’t see Bishop Tonnos stopping them this upcoming week.

No. 2 St. Francis Browns (3-0, 2-0) – In a game that was described as a defensive battle, with the score being 2-1 at the half for St. Francis over the CFC50 No. 10 Notre Dame Pride, the Browns managed to finish the job with a final score of 20-2. This week they face newcomers to the division 1 league in Calgary, William Aberhart.

No. 3 Catholic Central Crusaders (2-0, 1-1) – A convincing win, 41-7, over St. Andre Bessette, the Crusaders move up 2 spots to No. 3 from 5th spot. They will meet Mother Teresa this upcoming week, but we believe they will remain undefeated at the end of that one.
No. 4 Leboldus Golden Suns (4-0) – Moving up from No. 7, the Golden Suns beat out O’Neill 34-14 this past weekend. This is where we are used to seeing Leboldus sit. This next weekend they will play defending champions, the Miller Marauders, but again, we don’t believe this will be too much of a challenge as Miller graduated many of their starters from that championship team last year and have quite a young team.
Victoire des Condors 38-11 face au Blizzards.
— SJE Football (@SJEFOOTBALL) October 5, 2019
No. 5 Saint-Jean-Eudes Condors (6-0) – Look who’s back! Someone must have turned up the heat and melted the Blizzard with their 38-11 victory over CFC50 No. 13 (formerly No. 3) Seminaire Saint-Francois. This game is always one that we wished we could get to to cover. It would be fantastic to watch these two rivals go toe-to-toe. The Condors will have to regroup and get ready to face CFC50 No. 46 Cure-Antoine-Labelle.

Who’s getting ranked?
For the tenth year in a row, Canadafootballchat.com (CFC) is pleased to bring you the national high school football rankings known as the CFC50.
The CFC50 rankings considers all conference and non-conference games (in Canada and the United States) while scrimmages are not evaluated (there is no such thing as an exhibition game – those are classified as non-conference games) and forfeit* wins are not considered towards overall record.
How is the CFC50 evaluated?
Leagues included in rankings: British Columbia AAA Varsity, Alberta Tier One, Saskatchewan 12-man rural / 6A / Schwann, Manitoba AAA Varsity, Ontario OFSAA Bowl AAA qualified teams, Quebec Juvenile Division 1, New Brunswick 12-man, Nova Scotia (all teams excluding CFC25 eligible teams).
The CFC50 is a RELATIVE RANKING that considers top tier leagues from all eight high school playing provinces (minimum one team represented from each province) and the strength of the league. Additional criteria used to determine the relative ranking are the ability to accomplish winning a championship, the impact players and performers on that team (ie. CFC100s, CDN All-Stars etc.), and a team’s coaching and recent tradition.
The CFC Scouting Bureau consists of CFC Reporters, CFC Scouts, and selected local reporters and scouts who submit local ranking results on a weekly basis. The CFC50 is released every Monday (other than on Holidays) at 12 noon.
