No. 1 St. Thomas More Knights (7-0, 1-0) – With their win, 56-0 against Cathedral this past weekend, STM records 5 shutouts…yes, that’s correct…5! They will now head into their playoff bye to prepare for whoever it is that gets the privilege of trying to even score on the Knights. STM is headed back to OFSAA and probably their 3rd time at No. 1 on the CFC50 ranking.
No. 2 St. Francis Browns (4-0, 2-0) – The Browns shut out MCLA 51-0 this past weekend and will face Henry Wise Wood for their last regular season game.
No. 3 Catholic Central Crusaders (4-0, 1-1) – 38-12 was the final score against St. Thomas Aquinas this past weekend, keeping them undefeated in regular season. They will play Regina Mundi next.
No. 4 Leboldus Golden Suns (6-0) – The Golden Suns came out with the win against CFC50 Riffel, 48-24. They now head into the Regina semifinals where they will play Sir Winston Churchill.
No. 5 Saint-Jean-Eudes Condors (8-0) – Does this look familiar? We’ve been here before. The Condors remain undefeated with their shutout, 40-0, against Charles-Lemoyne. They have one more league game against Academie Saint-Louis where we believe they will head into playoffs with an unblemished record.

Who’s getting ranked?
For the tenth year in a row, Canadafootballchat.com (CFC) is pleased to bring you the national high school football rankings known as theΒ CFC50.
The CFC50 rankings considers all conference and non-conference games (in Canada and the United States) while scrimmages are not evaluated (there is no such thing as an exhibition game – those are classified as non-conference games) and forfeit* wins are not considered towards overall record.
How is theΒ CFC50Β evaluated?
Leagues included in rankings: British Columbia AAA Varsity, Alberta Tier One, Saskatchewan 12-man rural / 6A / Schwann, Manitoba AAA Varsity, Ontario OFSAA Bowl AAA qualified teams, Quebec Juvenile Division 1, New Brunswick 12-man, Nova Scotia (all teams excluding CFC25 eligible teams).
TheΒ CFC50Β is a RELATIVE RANKING that considers top tier leagues from all eight high school playing provinces (minimum one team represented from each province) and the strength of the league. Additional criteria used to determine the relative ranking are the ability to accomplish winning a championship, the impact players and performers on that team (ie.Β CFC100s, CDN All-Stars etc.), and a team’s coaching and recent tradition.
The CFC Scouting Bureau consists of CFC Reporters, CFC Scouts, and selected local reporters and scouts who submit local ranking results on a weekly basis. The CFC50 is released every Monday (other than on Holidays) at 12 noon.
