We start on the field tomorrow with helmets and shoulder pads. Film and then food after as we prepare for our semi final vs @CathedralSr #FINISH #OWE #Luigis

No. 1 St. Thomas More Knights (7-0, 1-0) – Coming off the bye, STM will play Cathedral who are 3-3 going into this semifinal in the Hamilton Catholic District. Unfortunately for the Gaels, they will have to endure 60 minutes of what could be a similar ending as the last time they met – a 56-0 shutout. The winner of this will go on to play in the district final and continue on towards the OFSAA Bowl.

No. 2 St. Francis Browns (5-0, 2-0) – The Browns beat the CFC50 No. 33 Warriors, 33-9 and will now sit another week for their turn at the playoffs in the Calgary area.
No. 3 Catholic Central Crusaders (5-0, 1-1) – The Crusaders shut out Regina Mundi, 35-0, which looks to be a mercy score. The 5-0 CCH now play 0-5 Holy Cross. This won’t be a fun way to end the season for RM, but until that last whistle blows…there’s always HOPE!
Congrats @RCSD_No81 @leboldushs on advancing to the @RHSAAthletics City Championship! #GoldenSuns

No. 4 LeBoldus Golden Suns (7-0) – LeBoldus came out on top for their semifinal against Sir Winston Churchill, 24-6. For the Regina city final, they will play CFC50 No. 25 the Riffel Royals. They lost to LeBoldus 48-24 in the regular season. But playoffs bring out the beast in you, and this has the potential to be a Cinderella story.
No. 5 Saint-Jean-Eudes Condors (9-0) – As predicted, the Condors beat Académie Saint-Louis, 43-10. This victory earned them the 1st round playoff bye and will have to wait to see who they face in the semis.

Who’s getting ranked?
For the tenth year in a row, Canadafootballchat.com (CFC) is pleased to bring you the national high school football rankings known as the CFC50.
The CFC50 rankings considers all conference and non-conference games (in Canada and the United States) while scrimmages are not evaluated (there is no such thing as an exhibition game – those are classified as non-conference games) and forfeit* wins are not considered towards overall record.
How is the CFC50 evaluated?
Leagues included in rankings: British Columbia AAA Varsity, Alberta Tier One, Saskatchewan 12-man rural / 6A / Schwann, Manitoba AAA Varsity, Ontario OFSAA Bowl AAA qualified teams, Quebec Juvenile Division 1, New Brunswick 12-man, Nova Scotia (all teams excluding CFC25 eligible teams).
The CFC50 is a RELATIVE RANKING that considers top tier leagues from all eight high school playing provinces (minimum one team represented from each province) and the strength of the league. Additional criteria used to determine the relative ranking are the ability to accomplish winning a championship, the impact players and performers on that team (ie. CFC100s, CDN All-Stars etc.), and a team’s coaching and recent tradition.
The CFC Scouting Bureau consists of CFC Reporters, CFC Scouts, and selected local reporters and scouts who submit local ranking results on a weekly basis. The CFC50 is released every Monday (other than on Holidays) at 12 noon.
