The Académie Saint-Louis will need all of its arsenal to stop the powerful Blizzard offence. The Séminaire Saint-François offence is headed by QB Raphaël Latulippe, who had a perfect game last week with 13 out of 13, and he is surrounded by a set of receivers that added a total of 267 yards. If you add the running game of RB Kalenga Muganda, and a relentless defence, you win this game.
The Patriotes were off last week and will be rested to face a Triolet team that just lost to Collège Jean-Eudes. The Harfangs QB Lukas Boulanger is a multi-threat athlete that loves running with the ball. Should be a good match-up and a probable win for the Harfangs.
The Estacades had a tough loss against the Collège Saint-Jean-Eudes Condors last week and are facing a defence that is of the same caliber or better in the Cactus team. The only hopes of winning this game is if the Estacades are able to stop the Cactus offence and produce some points on offence. This task may be unrealistic with the power running of Team Québec RB Theodore Seaborn, who rushed for 135 yards last week. Notre-Dame will move to a 2-0 record and remain in second place.
The Loups (wolves) lost a lot of fur last week and may be hurting physically to confront a primed Aigles team that played an impressive game against the Triolet Harfangs. The Aigles’ QB Arnaud Desjardins was almost immaculate completing 21 out of 32 for 244 yards, 3 touchdowns and no interceptions. Tough assignment awaits the CurΓ©-Antoine-Labelle defence and the Loupsβ offence will have to stop the charge of the Aigles’ defensive front who tapped 3 sacks last week. If CollΓ¨ge Jean-Eudes maintains their flight pattern, they shouldΒ bring this win home.
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
