Marquise Thompson

CFC # 3 WF Herman Green Griffins (WECSSAA):

Riley Milligan scored three touchdowns as CFC # 3 WF Herman Green Griffins improved to 5-0 with a 59-7 rout of St. Joseph Lasers. Marquise Thompson added two majors while Josh Klinck and Branden McCraney each scored a touchdown in the win.

Cody Holmes added a 27 yard field goal and eight conversions.  Malik Lee had a 30 yard fumble recovery for the Griffins.

This week, the Green Griffins will host Catholic Central Comets on Friday at Windsor Stadium. Kickoff is 5:00pm.

Marcus Di Loreto

 

CFC # 6 Cardinal Newman Cardinals (HWCAA):

Marcus DiLoreto tallied two majors (22 yards, 7 yards) as CFC#6 Cardinal Newman Cardinals cruised to a 24-3 victory over CFC#21 St Thomas More Knights.

Mark Bradica returned a punt for a 50 yard touchdown score.  Steven Frketich added a 45 yard field goal and three PAT’s for the undefeated Cardinals.

Next up for the 4-0 Cardinals is St. Jean de Brebeuf Braves under Friday Nights at 7:00pm.

 

 

Mike DelTin

CFC #12 Huron Heights Warriors (YRAA):

Skylar McMurty scored three majors as  CFC # 12 Huron Heights Warriors defeated archrivals Bill Crothers Colts 32-17.

Michael Strumos also rushed downfield for a 49 yard touchdown score.

At halftime, the Warriors enjoyed 15-8 lead.  With this win, the Warriors have clinched first place in Tier 1 standings.

This Friday, the Warriors will battle King City Lions at noon.

Liam Putt 2014

CFC#13 Assumption Lions (BCSSAA):

CFC#13 Assumption Lions did not play this week.  The team’s next game is this Friday against the Brantford Colts at 8:00pm.

 

Assumption Crusaders

CFC # 15 Assumption Crusaders HSSAA:

This past weekend, CFC # 15 Assumption Crusaders earned a 24-0 shutout victory over Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

The Crusaders do not play their next game until Friday October 24th against Holy Trinity Titans.  Kickoff is 2:00pm.

CFC # 16 Holy Trinity Titans (HSSAA):

CFC # 16  Holy Trinity Titans cruised to a 43-14 victory over Corpus Christi Longhorns in their previous game.  The Titans next game is against TA Blakelock Tigers on Thursday October 16th at 2:00pm.

St Roch Ravens versus St Thomas Aquinas 2014 Rogers

 

CFC # 18 St. Roch Ravens (ROPSSAA):

On Friday afternoon, CFC # 20 St. Roch Ravens hosted the St. Thomas Aquinas Cardinals for a doubleheader at the Rogers Centre.

Pivot Deandre Rose had four touchdowns and Retsen Daley scored three majors as the junior Ravens crushed the Cardinals 55-0.

In the second game, the Ravens began the game with a penalty filled first half and led 8-3 at halftime.

The offense awoke in the second half scoring 29 of their 37 points and ended with a 37-16 victory over the Cardinals.  Kyle Gouveia reached the 300 yard passing mark for the third time in the last four games with four touchdown passes while Nathan Walker had three catches for 94 yards and two touchdowns.

St Roch Ravens versus St Thomas Aquinas 2014 Rogers 2

 

Jamal Nkrumah scored his 10th touchdown of the season with a 55 yard touchdown reception and had four catches for 88 yards. Nick Adeyeye and Quincy Belanger each had two catches for 70 plus yards to round out the passing attack.

On defense, Winston Blake anchored the defense as they tried their best to contain Jevante Stanley who scored both Aquinas touchdowns.

It was a tremendous experience for both teams.  The Ravens travels to St. Joan of Arc this Friday at noon to battle the Angels.

Tristan Arndt 2014 2

 

CFC # 22 AB Lucas Vikings (TVRAA):

Six different players tallied a major each as CFC#22 AB Lucas Vikings trampled on Medway Mustangs 42-2.

Wide receiver Robert Clark, pivot Tristan Arndt, running back Dara Sos, wide receiver Josh Villani as well as slotbacks Jacob Misk and Scott Hutter all scored touchdowns for the Vikings.

On offense, Arndt completed 13 passes in 17 attempts while Hutter had eight receptions in the game.

The Vikings’ next game is under Friday NIght Lights against London South Lions.  Game start is 8:00pm.

CFC # 24 Upper Canada College Blues (CISAA):

CFC # 24 Upper Canada College Blues look to go 3-0 on October 17th when the team hosts St.Michael’s Kerry Blues for a duel under Friday Night Lights.  Kickoff is 7:30 pm.One player to watch for on the Blues is  CFC 100 linebacker Philippe Archambault.

St Marcellinus Spirit versus St Edmund Campion 2014

 

CFC # 25 St Marcellinus Spirit (ROPSSAA):

This past weekend, Myles Gardiner scored two touchdowns (five yards, 45 yards) as  CFC # 25  St. Marcellinus Spirit cruised to a 38-1 victory over St Edmund Campion Bears.

Theodore Egube recovered a fumble and converted it into an 80 yard touchdown score.  Keenan Danso-Dapaah caught an interception and ran down midfield for a 59 yard major. Tenzin Kunga also tallied a major for the Spirit.

The Spirit’s next game is against Our Lady of Mount Carmel Crusaders on Friday at noon.

Connor Gardiner

CFC # 26 Jacob Hespeler Hawks (WCSSAA):

Brett Wilson tallied three majors as CFC # 26 Jacob Hespeler Hawks remain undefeated as the team crushed the Bluevale Knights 41-7.

Pivot Jackson White had a passing touchdown and dashed into the end zone for two touchdowns.  White connected with Connor Gardiner for a 25 yard touchdown.  Josh Vandervoort also had a field goal for the Hawks.

The Hawks will keep try to keep their undefeated record intact when the team battles St. David Greenbacks on Thursday at 3:00pm.

CFC # 27 Catholic Central Crusaders (TVRAA):

CFC # 27  Catholic Central Crusaders defeated St Joseph’s Rams 38-14.  The Crusaders will host the Mother Teresa Spartans under Friday Night Lights.  Kickoff is 7:00pm.

CFC # 30 Resurrection Phoenix (WCSSAA):

Last week, CFC # 30 Resurrection Phoenix earned a 43-0 shutout victory over Eastwood Rebels.

Paul Henning scored two touchdowns while Domenik Valincic, Ryan MacArthur, Scott Lane and Tyler Woods each tallied a major.  Juan Almada added five PAT’s.

On Thursday, the Phoenix will face St. Benedict Saints at 7:00pm.

CFC # 31 St Paul Patriots (NRHSAA):

 CFC # 31 St Paul Patriots defeated Notre Dame Irish.  Next up for the Patriots is a battle against Lakeshore Catholic Gators on Friday at 7:00pm

CFC # 33 St Thomas More Knights (HWCAA):

In a battle of #CFC50 squads,  CFC # 33 St. Thomas More Knights lost to CFC#6 Cardinal Newman Cardinals 21-3.  Arzen Edillo blocked a punt which set up a field goal for the Knights, which was their only points of the game.

The Knights will now try to rebound and get back into the win column as the team hosts St Mary Crusaders on Friday at 1:00pm.

CFC # 34 St. Joan of Arc Knights (GBSSA):

Last week, CFC # 34 St. Joan of Arc Knights got by the Innisdale Invaders 15-5. The Knights will now host Collingwood Fighting Owls on Thursday at 3:30pm.

 

 

 

 

 

Zach Herzog Holy Names

CFC # 35 Holy Names Knights (WECSSAA):

At Windsor Stadium,Zach Herzog scored two touchdowns as  CFC # 35 Holy Names Knights cruised to a 42-12 victory over  L’Essor Aigles.

Chase Boycott had an interception return and punt return.  Anthony Bontorin connected with Andrew Garant for a major while Alec D’Angela added a score.
Next up for the Knights are the Brennan Cardinals on Friday at 3:00.

CFC # 38 Sydenham Golden Eagles (KASSAA):

CFC #38 Sydenham Golden Eagles got by La Salle Black Knights 28-21.

The Golden Eagles will play the Kingston Collegiate Blues on Friday afternoon for a matinee at 2:00pm.

AN Myer Marauders 2014

CFC # 43 A.N Myer Marauders (NRHSAA):

Zyer Harris tallied four majors as CFC#43 A.N Myer Marauders earned a 30-0 shutout victory over Denis Morris Redmen.

Josh Patterson added a 15 yard field goal.  Tyrrell Ford caught three interceptions to lead the Marauder defense.  Jack Adams recorded a sack while Matt Peacock and Shawn DeGaust each had a pick.

The Marauders will now host Blessed Trinity Thunder on Thursday at 3:00pm.

CFC # 44 Superior Heights Steelhawks (NOSSA):

CFC # 44  Superior Heights Steelhawks earned a 28-0 shutout victory over St. Mary’s Saints.  The Steelhawks will visit White Pines Wolverines on Wednesday.  Kickoff is 7:00pm.

CFC # 46  St Charles Cardinals crushed the Lasalle Lancers 56-6.  Next up for the Cardinals is a battle with Lo-Ellen Park Knights on Friday at 1:00pm.

CFC # 47 Chaminade Gryphons (TDCAA):

CFC # 47  Chaminade Gryphons as the team earned a 37-0 shutout victory over Blessed Mother Teresa Titans.

The Gryphons will host Senator O’Connor Blues on Friday at 5:00pm.

CFC# 49 St. Peter Knights (NCSSAA):

On Thursday, CFC# 49 St Peter Knights got by St. Patrick’s Irish 15-10. The Knights will visit St Mark Lions on Wednesday.  Game start is 1:00pm.

Chris Tannous scored two touchdowns as  CFC # 50  Cardinal Carter Cougars defeated Catholic Central Comets 23-12.

Richview Saints next game is against archrivals Etobicoke Collegiate Rams on Friday at 5:30pm.

Bill Crothers Colts (YRAA):

Last week, the Bill Crothers Colts lost to rivals, CFC#12 Huron Heights Warriors 32-17.  Elijah Hamilton-Walker had a four yard touchdown in the loss.

The Colts will not play their next game until October 31st against King City Lions.  Kickoff is noon.

Christ the King versus Nelson

 

 

Nelson Lords (HSSAA):

Nelson Lords defeated Christ the King Jaguars 12-6.

Nelson scored on the first play from scrimmage as Sam Lewis took the toss 31 yards for the touchdown and the Lords never looked back. Defensively Nelson held CTK’s all-star QB in check throughout the game, contributing a safety in the 3rd Quarter. Adam Preocanin would add a field goal to close out the scoring.

Nelson moves to 2-2 on the season and travels to Corpus Christi in Week 6.

Corpus Christi Longhorns (HSSAA):

Corpus Christi Longhorns earned a 27-16 victory over TA Blakelock Tigers.  The Longhorns will host the Nelson Lords on Friday at 3:15pm.

St. Marguerite d’Youville Panthers & St Edmund Campion Bears (ROPSSAA):

On Friday, St. Marguerite d’Youville Panthers suffered a 14-7 loss to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Crusaders.

The Bears lost to CFC#25 St Marcellinus Spirit 38-1.

Both the Panthers and the Bears will battle to get into the win column Friday at noon.

Linebacker Anthoine Walker will be one to watch for on the Panthers defense.

 

 

 

Mother Teresa Titans (NCSSAA):

Mother Teresa Titans squeezed out a 15-12 win over St.Joseph Jaguars.

It is the Titans’ first win of the season.

The Titans will visit St Francis Xavier Coyotes on Wednesday for a 3:30pm start.

Sir Wilfrid Laurier Lancers upended St Mark Lions 13-8

The Lancers will battle Ashbury College Colts on Wednesday.  Kickoff is 3:30pm.

The Frontenac Falcons was on the losing end of a 15-14 versus La Salle Black Knights.

The Falcons will look to get back in the win column when visit Holy Cross Crusaders on Thursday October 16th at 3:45pm.

This past weekend, Pickering Trojans lost a 21-4 decision to Paul Dwyer Saints..  On Thursday, the Trojans will host a Thursday afternoon matinee with Eastdale Eagles. Kickoff is 1:00pm
