#CFCHSFB PREVIEW (ONT – Waterloo): Panthers’ hoping to remain undefeated

The junior Preston Panthers are striving to stay undefeated after winning 43-14 against KCI last week. Their record is 3-0 so far this season.

The Panthers opponent this week is the Glenview Park Panthers.

Their strong suit so far this season has been their running game, which is led by Jordan Brubacher.

The Panthers also have certain aspects that require improvement.

“Special teams are still evolving, but getting better,” said Panthers Head Coach John Skovsgaard.

They have a couple players in grade nine that are starting to emerge, and they are running back George Sarre and defensive back Brandon Brubacher.

The Panthers’ defence will be prepared for Glenview Park’s mobile quarterback and decent receiving core. They are confident that if they can contain their offence, they will have a good chance of winning.

“We are focused on limiting their offence,” commented Skovsgaard. “If we can limit them to two scores or less, we hope to be able to win the game.”

The game between Preston and Glenview Park will take place on Preston’s home field on Friday, October 16 at 1:00pm.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
