Among the honours he has receiver include Dolphins Defensive MVP (2010), Raiders Defensive MVP (2014) and Colts Defensive MVP (2014).

Throughout his career, Nate has looked to his family for encouragement, especially his father.

“My dad played football and taught me the game at an early age,” adds the Colts linebacker, who also plays rugby.

Nate would like to study kinesiology in university. While its very early in the recruitment process, he has compiled a list of top schools he is interested in – Western, Carleton, McMaster and Guelph.

“Spoken to a few OUA coaches in camps and combines but I’m still in the early stages,” adds the linebacker.

Nate has been conditioning himself during the offseason as well as attending camps to bolster his exposure.

“I’ve been training at SST ( Sports Specific Training ) five days a week for the past three months in preperation for high school, and I’ve been playing rugby to stay active,” says Nate.  “I will be attending several university camps and combines this summer.”

Chung was also able to bolster his recruiting by his participation in the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC).

“I learned a lot in a little time” says the Colts standout.  “Hopefully OPC will help me garner exposure to universities and colleges to help fulfil my goal to play university football.”

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
