NOVA SCOTIA

Lockview Dragons (4-1) vs. Darmouth Spartans (4-1)
Sun 24-Oct-10 5:00 PM @ Burnside

The four way tie on top of the ‘scotia’ division will feature a head to head battle between lockview and dartmouth. The Dragons were featured in last weeks game of the week and did not disappoint with a 27 to 18 victory. QB Kenzie MacNeil continued his solid play throwing for 2 touchdowns, rushing for one, and kicking a field goal. Dartmouth is coming off a 46 to 0 shutout where David Horne had a 3 touchdown effort. Hope the defenses show up.

NEW BRUNSWICK

10 – man
Mathieu-Martin Matadors (6-0) @ Kennebecasis Valley Crusaders (5-1)
Saturday 1:00 pm

For the first time this year we feature a 10-man contest in our game of the week. First place versus second place to close the regular season. The crusaders have the most explosive offense and the matadors have the stingiest defense in the league.

QUEBEC

SĆ©minaire Saint-FranƧois Blizzard CFC ‘HM’ (7-1) @ CollĆØge Notre-Dame Cactus (8-0) CFC #4
Sunday1 :00pm @ CollĆØge Notre-Dame

The blizzard’s only loss came at the hands of CFC #12 Ɖ. sec. CurĆ©-Antoine-Labelle les Loups 27 to 18 on October 1st. The cactus are hoping for big things from Mike-Brian Lusikila, last weeks player of the week in Juvenile AAA. He had 287 yards on 28 carries. The blizzard have the best defense in the league, giving up only 95 points in 8 games. Should be a great match up.

ONTARIO

Lots of traditional rivalries in ontario this week.

Ottawa – St. Peter (4-0) @ Ashbury College (4-0) CFC ‘HM’

Friday – 3:30pm
Battle for first place this week in Ottawa. Should be a very even match up. Ashbury’s pass offense versus St. Peter’s run attack. St. Pete’s Big defensive line featuring Anthony Wilson and Kristian Lawrence look to get pressure on Ashbury QB Duncan Lurie.

Hamilton – Westdale (5-1) @ MacNab (6-0) CFC ‘HM’
Thursday – 3:00pm
Another battle for first place should be a great match up in division 1 hamilton public action thursday.

London – St. Thomas Aquinas CFC ‘HM’ (4-0) @ Mother Teresa CFC ‘HM’ (4-0)
Thursday – 1:00pm
Brett Weir (team Ontario) and the Aquinas offense look to solve the spartan defense that has given up only four points per game. Not to be outdone the Aquinas defense has only given up 6.3 points per game and Alex Iessi (team ontario) and Tommy Marshall (team ontario) hope to break through that barrier.

Peel – St Marcelliinus (4-0) CFC ‘HM’ @ St. Marguerite d’Youville (4-0)

Both teams had tight games versus Notre Dame and both sport almost identical points for and against. Marcy defender Ben Osmow (Team Ontario), kicker Daniel Ferraro (Team Ontario – all canadian) and Jason Opoku Serbour look for big games against d’youville’s Kalvin Johnson (team ontario – all canadian).

MANITOBA

Oak Park (5-1) CFC ‘HM’ VS. Churchill (4-2)
Thursday – 5:15 CanadInns

Both teams are looking to rebound off of week 6 losses. Oak Park lost a close contest to St. Paul’s CFC #10, while Churchill was upset and shutout by Sisler.

SASKATCHEWAN

Holy Cross Crusaders (5-1) CFC ‘HM’ vs. Aden Bowman Bears (6-0) CFC #1
Friday 7:30pm – Griffith Stadium

The battle of Taylor street in east Saskatoon. Bears veteran QB Drew Burko is coming off his best game of the year. Holy Cross bounced back after a loss to Centenniel with a big 59 to 0 victory. Make sure the scoreboard lights are working.

ALBERTA

Tier I
Raymond Comets CFC #3 at Spruce Grove Panthers
Friday, October 22, 7:00 p.m.
Tri-Leisure Football Fields (Spruce Grove)

Whitefish, Montanaā€™s loss is the Edmonton areas gain as the American squad canceled their game against the #3 ranked team north of their border and left the Comets looking for a dance partner this weekend. Enter the Panthers. With a BYE in their schedule the once defeated power from Spruce Grove could have taken the easy route and rested up for playoffs. Instead they have chosen to take on a juggernaut that has not lost a game on Canadian soil since 2007. An early pre-playoff treat and the only time Raymond will head north of Calgary this year. A must see event!! (FB Alberta)

BRITISH COLUMBIA

AA – Mainland Conference
Handsworth Royals (2-1) @ Mission Roadrunners (3-0)
Friday – 3:00 pm

Big game between Mainland division foes. Handsworth QB Stephen Cyr and RB Victor Sun look to solve the stingy roadrunner defense that has given up 12 points in 3 league games. Defenders Zachery Chamberland, Colton Lohr, and Tom Clarkson look to keep it going for the mission defense. QB Tanner Pearce looks to keep his fine play going for the royals.
