LOGIN“Football is back!”, said every American this past weekend when the NFL preseason began for all 32 teams. While we Canadians know that statement is laughably untrue, it’s always exciting to check in on our countrymen who have ventured south of the border to pursue their football dreams. Some are undrafted free agents desperate to hold onto a roster spot, while others are established starters just getting their feet wet for the approaching season. CFC100 Class of 2016 QB Nathan Rourke of the Jacksonville Jaguars had himself a day against the Dallas Cowboys, going nine-for-seventeen passing with 153 yards and an unreal touchdown, as well as six rushes for 20 yards and a touchdown. Rourke is now firmly entrenched in a competition to backup former number one overall pick Trevor Lawrence.
