TOP 25

1-tie (1) Terry Fox Ravens – Port Coquitlam, BC (7-0, 11-0)

Defeated Centennial (last years BC champs) in semi-final game 46 to 13. Some are calling this team “the best high school team ever in the province”. QB Cam Canales once again led the offensive barrage. Jared Soll scored 3 rushing touchdowns, Jacob Patko had an 82 yard pick six and a 12 yard pass reception TD, Jordan Wicki had a 12 yard TD, and Mark Casuga had the other TD. Will come down to the last game of the season to see who comes #1 in the country. It will either be the Ravens or the Comets.

1-tie (2) Raymond Comets – Raymond, AB (11-0) – SEASON COMPLETE

Defeated Harry Ainlay 49 to 14 in Alberta provincial finals. Jimmy Ralph completed 7 of 8 passes for 137 yards, had 7 carries for 63 yards and made 3 catches for 30 yards, finishing with 4 TDs. QB Brad Barker was 12 of 18 passing for 140 yards. Connor Ralph chipped in with 2 TDs and Dillon Prince had one. Raymond beat the second best team in Alberta last week 36 to 14 (according to the top 25 poll). Terry Fox and Vancouver College battle December 4th in the last game that will effect the TOP 25. Will come down to the last game of the season to see who comes #1 in the country. It will either be the Ravens or the Comets.

LETS HEAR FROM BOTH TEAMS FANS MAKING A CASE FOR THEIR TEAM BEING #1

3 (NC) Collège Notre-Dame Cactus – Montreal (11-0) – SEASON COMPLETE

Bol D’or Champs. Undefeated season. Beat defending champs. Scored TD with less than 2 minutes left in the game to win 17 to 14. Intercepted the ball with less then one minute to play to seal the victory. What a great story line. Congrats to everyone with the Cactus. Will now have to wait to see how they move based on others performances. #1 spot is not out of the question.

4 (5) Herman Griffins – Windsor, ON (10-0) – SEASON COMPLETE

Defeated Brantford Assumption 48 to 23 in Western Bowl. CFC has crowned Herman the top Ontario team (because their is no official playdown, just a bowl series). A Herman and Notre Dame game would have been a great match up.

5 (7) Vancouver College Fighting Irish – Vancouver (7-0, 10-2)

Defeated WJ Mouat 27 to 3 in BC semi-finals. A little Charlie Thorpe and Adam Konar is what the irish needed. Thorpes scored TDs on 12 and 4 yard runs. Konar scored on a 2nd quarter pick six and a 14 yard run. The Irish now play CFC #1 Terry Fox for the BC provincial crown. They lost earlier this year in an exhibition game to the Ravens.

6 (NC) Citadel Phoenix – Halifax (11-0) – SEASON COMPLETE

Defeated Sir John A MacDonald today 45 to 7 to claim their third Nova Scotia title in a row. Averaged over 40 point spread in viCtories. Is this the best maritime team ever? Of the decade? Not even close?

7 (11) Notre Dame Irish – Burlington, ON (10-0) – SEASON COMPLETE

Defeated Lakeshore Catholic 16 to 14 in Golden Horseshoe Bowl. Led by an inspired performance by Chris Pezzetta who had 2 TDs, on 79 yards rushing and 9.5 tackles. Notre Dame wins their second straight Golden Horseshoe bowl.

8 (5) Lakeshore Gators – Port Colborne, ON (11-1) – SEASON COMPLETE

Lost to Notre Dame 16 to 14 in the Golden Horseshoe Bowl. Controlled the game early but could not capitalize on their early chances. Outgained Notre Dame 310 yards to 178 yards in offense. In the end, a missed 2 point convert attempt to tie the game with less than 2 minutes remaining sealed their fate.

9 (10) Campbell Tartans – Regina (9-2) – SEASON COMPLETE

Defeated Sheldon in Regina Intercollegiate Football League Schwann Conference final. Then defeated the Centennial Chargers (Saskatoon champs) in the Saskatchewan finals 14 to 9 on Saturday. Congrats to the Tartans on a championship season.

12 (14) Notre Dame Pride – Calgary (9-1) – SEASON COMPLETE

Lost to the Raymond Comets 36 to 14 in Alberta semi-finals. Could argue they are the second best team in the province. Ainlay will have something to say about that this weekend.

16 (19) Holy Trinity Titans – Oakville, ON (7-1) – SEASON COMPLETE

Lost to Notre Dame 22 to 9 in Halton Finals. One could argue that Halton is the best High School Football Conference in Canada. Quebec Juvenile AAA may be better because of their structure.

17 (NC) St Thomas More – Hamilton, ON (9-2) – SEASON COMPLETE

Defeated Bishop Ryan 24 to 14 in the Hamilton Catholic finals. Then played Lakeshore Catholic in the Golden Horseshoe semi-finals and lost 30 to 16.

20 (9) W.J. Mouat Hawks – Abbotsford, B.C. – (5-2, 9-2) – SEASON COMPLETE

Lost to Vancouver College 27 to 3 in BC semi-finals this weekend. A Tanner Strauss 28 yard field goal was all the Hawks could manage to put on the board.

21 (22) Catholic Central (CCH) – London, ON (8-2) – SEASON COMPLETE
