We at CFC dedicate this edition of the ‘TOP 25’ to the victims of the fatal car accident in Grande Prairie, Alberta. CFC sends their condolences to the families, friends, school mates, and teammates of the Warrior football players. Add your comments to this article (be sure to be signed in) to support everyone involved.

Depending on when scores are reported the ‘Top 25’ is released weekly between Sunday 6pm and Monday 12 noon.

After scoring 69 points a week ago the Blizzard ended regular season play by putting up 71 points on Γ‰. sec. Pointe-LΓ©vy, the second worst team in the standings. They are now rewarded with a first week bye and await the lowest surviving seed of the quarter finals in the Semi’s the week of November 6th.

2 (3) Cardinal Newman Cardinals – Stoney Creek, ON (5-0)

Defeated St Mary’s Friday at home. Alex Hill and Matthew Barkovich continue to impress on the offensive side of the ball. Play Bishop Tonnos in final game of the regular season this Friday.

3 (4) Nelson Lords – Burlington, ON (6-0, 1-0)

Continue to dominate the Halton football scene, this time defeating Assumption 35 to 3. Ben Megarry continued his fine season with 2 TDs and Doug Corby, Eli Pawliw and Wes Miller each added 1. Visit the Notre Dame Irish this Friday.

4 (5) CollΓ¨ge Notre-Dame Cactus – Montreal (8-1)

Dominated Γ‰. sec. CurΓ©-Antoine-Labelle Les Loups (6-3) by a score of 37 to 6 in a rematch of last year’s Bol d’or. Host Γ‰. sec. Jacques-Rousseau in quarter final action Saturday at 4:30pm in NDG.

5 (6) St Thomas More Knights – Vancouver, BC (3-0, 3-0)

Defeated Centennial Terry Fox 21 to 7. Elliot Nelson had a 61 yard TD run and 169 yards rushing. Kyle Madden continued his dominance with 12 tackles. Play Earl Marriot Saturday.

6 (7) St. Paul’s Crusaders – Winnipeg (7-0)

Capped undefeated regular season with 64 to 0 shutout of Sisler Spartans. Host Kelvin in quarter finals Thursday at 7:30pm.

7 (8) Harry Ainlay Titans – Edmonton (8-0)

Dominated McNally 53 to 1. Play Ross Sheppard this week in opening round of β€˜Bright’ playoffs.

8 (10) Notre Dame – Calgary (6-0)

Had a bye this week. Play Western Canada in final game of regular season for Calgary division 1.

9 (9) Riffel Royals – Regina, SK (7-0)

Ended regular season with a 29 to 14 victory over the Balfour Redmen. Have a first round bye in the playoffs this week.

10 (12) Bev Facey Falcons – Sherwood Park, AB (5-0-2)

Beat St. Albert this week by a score of 63 to 14. Face winner of Bellerose/Salisbury game.

11 (14) W.J. Mouat Hawks – Abbotsford, B.C. (2-1, 3-1)

Defeated Lord Tweedsmuir 20 to 15 thanks to a fourth quarter comeback. Devin Logan finished with 159 yards rushing on 25 carries. Jake Heathcote, Nathan Henczel and Taylor Hinton led the defense. Play Centennial this week.

12 (16) Holy Names – Windsor, ON (6-0)

Won final regular season game against Massey 42 to 6. As a result of the perfect record they receive a bye in the first round of the Newman Division playoffs. Will await lowest seeded survivor in semi-final match up the following week.

13 (13) Oak Park Raiders – Winnipeg (6-1)

Finished regular season with a 31 to 20 victory over Vincent Massey to claim sole possession of second place. Goal line stand and a late touchdown sealed the victory. Host the Sisler Spartans Wednesday in the quarterfinals.

14 (17) Catholic Central Crusaders (CCH) – London, ON (5-0, 0-1)

Continued their perfect record in London by defeating Oakridge 9 to 0 in a mud bowl. They have clinched first place in the Central division and end regular season this Thursday against John Paul II.

15 (23) Northern Vikings- Sarnia, ON (5-0, 1-0)

Won final regular season game 41 to 0 over Sarnia. Play Lambton Central in Lambton semi-final action this Friday.

16 (HM) Vancouver College Fighting Irish – Vancouver (2-1, 2-3)

Defeated the Mount Douglas Rams 24 to 19. Liam Mahara and Matt Alvis each had over 100 yards on the ground. QB Hunter Robinson was 11 for 18 and 185 yards. Play Carson Graham this Friday.

17 (20) Citadel Phoenix – Halifax (6-0)

Had a bye this week. Play Central Kings this Saturday.

18 (21) Lakeshore Gators – Port Colborne, ON (5-0)

Blanked Blessed Trinity by a score of 15 to 0. One victory away from clinching first place in Niagara AAAA with the victory. Play Notre Dame this Friday.

19 (22) Sydenham Golden Eagles – Sydenham, ON (6-0)

Defeated Holy Cross in final regular season game 24 to 10. Have a first round bye in the AAA division playoffs.

20 (11) Mount Douglas Rams – Victoria, B.C. (2-1, 2-2)

Lost to Vancouver College 24 to 19. RB Terrell Davis scored on an 85 yard kick return and an 11-yard rush. Jordan Deverill threw for 231 yards. Play New Westminister this week.

21 (HM) Notre Dame – Brampton, ON (5-0)

Led by grade 11 QB Christian Strong, defeated St. Marcellinus 7 to 3. Finish regular season against Philip Pocock this Wednesday. NOTE: This program includes graduates Jerome Messame (Eskimos) and Jamal Westerman (NY Jets).

22 (NR) Don Bosco – Etobicoke, ON (5-0)

The program that Mayor Ford resurrected and continues to guide upset and shut out the previous undefeated Richview Saints on the road 34 to 0. Play Etobicoke collegiate this Friday in opening game of Toronto Tier 1 playoffs.

23 (2) St. Andrew’s Saints – Aurora, ON (4-1, 2-0)

Lost final regular season against St. Micheal’s College 26 to 14. As a result the former CFC #2 has to travel back to Bathurst and St. Clair to face the Kerry Blues this Saturday in semi-final independent league action.

Lost to College Notre Dame Cactus 37 to 6. Start quarter finals against AcadΓ©mie Saint-Louis (6-3). The Wolves lost 29 to 21 in a week 3 match up…should make for a game of the week.
