CFL DRAFTS FORMER CJFL PLAYERS


The Canadian Junior Football League is proud to announce that eight former players have been chosen in the 2010 Canadian Football League draft.

– Danny Watkins by Toronto Argonauts with the 4th pick in first round.

Danny played for the Okanagan Sun in 2007.

– Rob Maver by the Calgary Stampeders with the 5th pick in the first round.

Rob played for the Burlington Braves in 2005. He was selected as the CJFL All Canadian punter.

– Cory Watson by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers with the 9th pick overall in the second round.

Cory played for the St Leonard Cougars in 2001.

– Grant Shaw by the Toronto Argonauts with the 11th pick overall in the second round. Grant played for the Edmonton Huskies in 2005.

– Saleem Borhot by the Edmonton Eskimos with the 12th pick overall in the second round.

Saleem played for the Okanagan Sun in 2005. He was selected as a CJFL All Canadian defensive back.

– Nate Binder by the BC Lions with the 24th pick overall in the fourth round. Nate played for the Windsor AKO Fratmen in 2005. He was selected as a CJFL All Canadian receiver.

– Brian Ridgeway by the Montreal Alouettes with the 39th pick overall in the fifth round.

Brian played for the Vancouver Island Raiders in 2005. He was selected as a CJFL All Canadian linebacker.

– Corbin Sharun by the Edmonton Eskimos with the 43rd pick overall in the sixth round.

Corbin played for the Edmonton Wildcats in 2009. He was selected as a CJFL All Canadian defensive back.
