CFL player fines announced

TORONTO – The Canadian Football League announced today that it has fined the following players:

Hamilton Tiger-Cats defensive lineman Brian Bulcke for an illegal and dangerous hit to the head of Edmonton Eskimo quarterback Mike Reilly during last Friday night’s game.

Winnipeg Blue Bomber offensive lineman Justin Sorensen for an illegal block on BC Lions defensive lineman Jabar Westerman during Monday night’s game. Sorensen was penalized for unnecessary roughness on the play.

As per league policy, the amounts of the fines are not disclosed.
