CFL’s Calgary Stampeders visit PEI, Saturday, September 24


Football PEI, in conjunction with the Calgary Stampeders, CFL, and Touchdown Atlantic are proud to announce the arrival of the Stampeders on Saturday, September 24, 2011.

Visiting the Island will be 42 – 45 players, 6 – 7 coaches as well as 6 – 7 management. The Calgary Stampeders will be arriving at the UPEI Turf Field from Moncton on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 11:30am. Upon arrival, the Stampeders will conduct a walk through practice at 11:45am, and then they will hold a Free Kids Camp at 12:30pm, followed by an autograph session, as well as give-aways, then a 2:00pm departure.

The public is welcome to watch their walk through practice, and kids ages 10 and up are welcome to the hour long free camp.

The visit by the players and staff of the Calgary Stampeders is part of the Touchdown Atlantic which takes place in Moncton on Sunday, September 25, 2011 where they will play the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
