TORONTO – The Canadian Football League announced today that it has fined the following players:
Hamilton Tiger-Cats defensive back Dee Webb for a dangerous hit to the head of BC Lions receiver Marco Iannuzzi on the opening kickoff of last Saturday’s game.
Saskatchewan Roughriders centre Dominic Picard for throwing a punch during Sunday’s game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
As per league policy, the amounts of the fines are not disclosed.
