Every year, celebrities from across Canada do original paintings in support of the Foundation’s research program. Musicians, actors, politicians and sports figures all participate. This year, well over 100 celebrities are painting, including several professional football players: Steve Christie (former NFL great with the Buffalo Bills), Ian Logan (Winnipeg Blue Bombers), Glenn January (Winnipeg Blue Bombers), Andre Durie (Toronto Argonauts) and Arjei Franklin (Calgary Stampeders) and recently retired Bryan Chiu (Montreal Alouettes).

All of the art supplies were generously donated by Endeavours and ColArt and the shipping back and forth to the celebrities was provided by UPS, so all of the profits from the sale can go directly to the mission of the Foundation.
The Kidney Foundation of Canada is the national volunteer organization committed to reducing the burden of kidney disease through:
– funding and stimulating innovative research;
– providing education and support;
– promoting access to high quality healthcare; and
– increasing public awareness and commitment to advancing kidney health and organ donation.
