Chilliwack players star in last weekend’s annual Starbowl games

The Annual Star-bowl between the Vancouver Mainland and Valley Community football leagues was played last Saturday before a packed house at Townsend Park in Chilliwack.


At Junior Bantam the Valley prevailed 16-8 and several Chilliwack players were recognized including game MVP Hunter Larocque, Offensive MVP Ryan Connelly, and best lineman Raja Sandu.

At Bantam the Valley lost 21-14 but had outstanding contributions from Connor Hermann and Phillip Horak.


At Midget the Valley lost a narrow game but Chilliwack player Cody Parray was named game MVP while Cole Hermann won Defensive Lineman of the year for the Midget league.
