The BCFC returns from their bye week and reaches the midway point of the season this Saturday with a trio of games all taking place on September 8.
The action of the day kicks off at in Nanaimo when the Vancouver Island Raiders (3-0-1) host the winless Chilliwack Huskers (0-4) at Caledonia Park. Kickoff is at 2 pm. The Raiders scored a convincing 59-17 road victory over the Kamloops Broncos just before the bye week while the Huskers were blanked 58-0 on the road by the Westshore Rebels in their last game action.
The Kamloops Broncos (1-3) will look to snap a three-game losing streak when they visit McLeod Stadium to battle with the Langley Rams (3-0-1), who are tied atop the BCFC standings with the Raiders. The Rams demolished the Okanagan Sun on home turf in their last outing by a 34-3 score. Kickoff is at 7 pm.
The struggling Okanagan Sun (1-3), losers of two straight games, will try to snap their skid against the hottest team in the BCFC when they host the Westshore Rebels at the Apple Bowl. The Rebels have won three straight games coming into Saturdayβs contest. Kickoff is at 7 pm.
