CJFL Outstanding Offensive Player of the Week

Kyle Woldenberg-Puyda – Runningback – London Beefeaters


Kyle earned his second offensive award of 2010 as the Beefs defeated the visiting Brampton Bears 19-16. The 5’9” 178 pound rookie rushed for 308 yards on 40 carries. Both Beefeater team records and the latter an OFC record.

The St Thomas St Joseph’s grad averaged an outstanding 7.7 yards per carry with his longest romp being 29 yards.

CJFL Outstanding Defensive Player of the Week

Corbin Eskelson – Linebacker – Saskatoon Hilltops
The 5th-year linebacker came up big in the clutch yet again as his club clinched the regular season conference title in Sunday’s 19-10 win over the Edmonton Wildcats. The product of Rosetown recorded 10 solo tackles, 1 assisted tackle and came up with a quarterback sack, racking up 22 points which places him in 3rd in the PFC Defensive Points race with 95.

CJFL Outstanding Special Teams Player of the Week

Andrew Fabian – Kicker – Calgary Colts
The Colts kicker claims his 1st Special Teams Player of the Week award of the year on the strength of 3 field goals in the 42-35 win over Winnipeg. Fabian would connect from 47, 22 & 44 yards away and add a 47-yard punt single. He is 2nd in PFC scoring with 61 points. Fabian averaged 42 yards/punt as he punted 5 times in the contest.
