CJFL Offensive POW

PFC WEEK 4:

Receiver – #88 Kurt Goodrich – Winnipeg Rifles

The Winnipeg Rifles jumped into first place after a good hard fought road win in Edmonton on Sunday.Β  Veteran receiver Kurt Goodrich played an important role making a Conference high 10 receptions for 158 yards and caught two touchdown passes including the game winner with two and a half minutes to play.

BCFC WEEK 7:

Quarterback – #13 Liam O’Brien – Vancouver Island Raiders

The Vancouver Island Raiders tallied their most convincing win of the year, pounding the Valley Huskers 81-6.Β  Quarterback and β€œBC Lions Offensive Player of the Week” Liam O’Brien played the first half only finishing 11 of 16 for 264 yards and threw four touchdowns.

PFC WEEK 4:

Linebacker – #45 Justin Filteau – Saskatoon Hilltops

It was almost a storybook ending for the Saskatoon Hilltops on Saturday afternoon as they unveiled the new Saskatoon Minor Football Field.Β  LinebackerΒ Justin Filteau,Β who helped install the new field turf at the old Gordie Howe Bowl was simply fantastic compiling a Conference high 12 solo tackles, assisted on five other tackles and recorded an interception.Β  His 34 defensive points are the fifth most in PFC regular season history.

BCFC WEEK 7:

Defensive Back – #3 Dexter Janke – Okanagan Sun

Saturday night the Okanagan Sun took sole possession of first place with a 31-10 victory over the Langley Rams.Β  The Sun were led by their defense and special teams, holding the Rams high powered offense to just 43 yards on the ground and 179 total offensive yards.Β  The β€œD” forced seven turnovers, including two interceptions from the β€œBC Lions Defensive Player of the Week” Dexter Janke.Β  The Edmonton native returned both interceptions to inside the Rams 20 yard line, one of which was a 70 yard return.Β  Janke also made two solo tackles and assisted on one.

PFC WEEK 4:

Kicker – #7 Will McGee – Regina Thunder

Saturday afternoon Regina stole the β€œThunder” from the Hilltops unveiling of the new Saskatoon Minor Football Field with a come from behind victory, scoring three touchdowns in the final quarter.Β  Kicker Will McGee was instrumental in the comeback by placing two onside kicks in the final 1:43 of regulation that were recovered by his Thunder teammates.

BCFC WEEK 7:

Returner – #15 Robbie Yochim – Okanagan Sun

Besides the defense the Okanagan Sun Special Teams were a major factor on Saturday night, led by the β€œBC Lions Special Teams Player of the Week,” Robbie Yochim.Β  The fifth year veteran got the Sun on the board in the first quarter with a 50 yard punt return for a touchdown.Β  Yochim totaled three punt returns for 102 yards and one kick-off return for 34 yards.
