In a battle of undefeated teams in Week 4, the Saskatoon Hilltops took over sole possession of first place with a 35-17 win over the Regina Thunder.Ā The Toppers used their running attack to perfection led by the Offensive Player of the Week Logan Fischer.Ā The Saskatoon native collected 293 yards on 32 carries and scored a touchdown.Ā The Hilltops face the Thunder again this weekend.
Linebacker – #47 Paul Toth ā Regina Thunder
It was a wet, sloppy day in Saskatoon, although the conditions didnāt seem to bother the Defensive Player of the Week.Ā Thunder linebacker Paul Toth tallied a Conference high 10 solo tackles, assisted on two stops and made special teams tackle.Ā Itās the first award for Toth this season.
Returner – #21 Odun Ogidan ā Winnipeg Rifles
The Winnipeg Rifles scored their first win of the 2015 season and which was highlighted by the Special Teams Player of the Week.Ā Odun Ogidan returned a punt 71 yards to the house exciting the crowd in the second quarter.Ā The touchdown was part of the Rifles 29 point second half.Ā Its the first award of the season for Ogidan.
