CJFL: Predators host Bears Friday after franchises first win

Twin Cities Predators, part of the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL), will be playing the Brampton Bears this Friday, September 7th, at Knight-Newbrough, University Stadium in Waterloo at 7:30pm. Tickets will be $10 and anyone under the age of 16 will get in free.

The Predators played the Hamilton Hurricanes Friday night at Knight-Newbrough, University Stadium in Waterloo and lost 29-7.

Tom Arnott, head coach of the Predators, commented on the game, mentioning turnover as an issue.Β Β β€œWe can’t have too many turnovers without it having an impact on the game,” he said.

Twin Cities Predators is based in Kitchener-Waterloo, but it recruits players from Waterloo Region and beyond.Β Β The Predators are considered a farm team of the Toronto Argonauts. Players are between the ages of 17-22 and some are in high school, college, university or work full-time.Β Β Jim Macarthur has resumed his role as Head of Football Operations this year.
