CJFL: Turkington & Larson guide Hilltops to Canadian Bowl victory

For the fourth time in five seasons the Saskatoon Hilltops are on top of the Canadian Junior Football League after a 39-14 victory over the Langley Rams in the 107th Canadian Bowl.

The Hilltops led from start to finish as Evan Turkington was named the Offensive Player of the Game with five receptions for 131 yards and a pair of touchdowns including a 76 yarder.

Defensive back Dylan Larson was named the Defensive Player of the Game with 11 tackles and one assist.

For the Hilltops it’s their 17th national crown and second in three years in Langley.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
