CJFLer ready to help up-and-coming Regina Rams

Regina brings in an out-of-province commit to their team.

Ready to be apart of a promising team, Isaiah Breland, a defensive end from Sisler High School, will be heading across provincial boarders to join the University of Regina Rams.

“They are a young, up-and-coming team who has the potential to win a national championship,” the product of Winnipeg, Manitoba, said. “I also really like the three-four defense that they run.”

A towering 6’5, 245lbs defensive player himself, Breland will have no problem getting comfortable with the team. “The coaching staff is very welcoming and made me feel like part of the team from the second I got there,” he said. “I really appreciate the winning attitude of all the coaching staff.”

The potential criminal justice student has played with the North Winnipeg Nomads, the Sisler Spartans (Winnipeg High School Football League) and the Winnipeg Rifles (CJFL). In 2014, he was awarded the defensive MVP title during the Midget Bowl. The following year, he was rookie of the year with his high school team.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
