Adam started playing community football in grade 4 and played until he arrived at Vancouver College in grade 8. This year he played both running back and safety, but his first love is safety. He was a conference and provincial all-star, Archbishops Cup game MVP, and Subway Bowl MVP.

His most memorable football experience was winning this years provincial championships. “Our team worked so hard to get to the championship, and to finish it off the way we did was almost like a dream. Everyone at VC, and anyone who had ever been to VC was so proud and you could really feel it, the whole VC nation coming together after a few heartbreaking losses in previous years. Everyone had our back, and that really helped us achieve what we did, all the support we got.”

Adam’s most influential person in his life is his dad. “Just watching his work ethic in everything he does is inspirational to me. He has taught me everything I know. And with my dad playing in the CFL for 10 years with the Lions, he knows a couple things about football and has really helped me along the way. But he hasn’t just taught me about football, he has taught me about being humble and being a good person. So I strive to be like my dad in what I do. I couldn’t end this without mentioning my mom. She works so hard every day to make our food, do grocery shopping and basically whatever needs to be done around the house. My mom is also very inspirational to me because of how hard I see her working day in and day out. My mom and my dad have molded me into the person I am today, I strive to be just like them, and have the same work ethic they have, they have both taught me everything I know. ”

Adam’s cousin Jamie Boreham plays in the CFC as a kicker / punter for the Argos. His dad (Kevin) played linebacker in the CFL for the BC Lions from 1980 to 1989.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
