Colton Garner set every school record at Lethbridge. This season his stats were: 3802 passing yards, 265 attempts, 201 completions, 75.8% completion, 20 passing TDs, and 7 rushing TDs. Colton started playing football for the Bantam Rams.
His teams only 2 losses were both to the CFC #1 Raymond Comets.
His most memorable football experience was the big comeback game versus Calgary’s Bishop O’Byrne. With 1.5 seconds remaining Colton threw the game winning touchdown, to win by a point.
He credits his football and life success to “my coaches, and mom and dad.” And is quick to point out that the records could not have been broken without the rest of his teammates, especially the offensive line.
Here are Colton’s 2009 hilites.
