Class 2011: Connor Ralph, RB/LB Raymond Comets – One of Canada’s best (VIDEO)


Today CFC features Connor Ralph from the CFC #1 high school team in Canada the Raymond Comets. Connor may be the best RB / LB combination in Canada in the 2011 class.

Connor started playing football in grade 5 for the Comet peewee team. This year he was league MVP for both running back and linebacker.

His most memorable football experience was the 3-peat this year in Alberta and being ranked #1 in Canada. Also, playing Rocky Mountain Rumble in Pocatello, Idaho and beating Blackfoot who finished 2nd in the 4a league this year.

Connor has many people to thank, firstly his high school coaches. “They have put me in spots where i can make plays. They also run complex schemes that in my opinion would succeed at the CIS level and beyond. They’re the main reason our programs where it is today. They have also taught me to love being a student of the game and figuring out new things that will help out our team. Secondly, Coach Todd Heggie my basketball coach has been another huge influence. He has taught me to respect the game your playing and to not take anything for granted. He is also a great motivator which has translated to my success. Thirdly, my brother Randon Ralph is the other influence who has probably helped me the most. He has pushed me to keep my goals high and to always work hard. He’s honest about my strengths and weaknesses and what i need to work on in life and football. ”
