Due to his size and athleticism Gregg has played many positions on the football field. In his first 2 years his team went to the tier 2 provincials, winning back to back SAMFA (Southern Alberta Minor Football Association) championships. In grade 9 he was awarded the SAMFA offensive lineman of the year. His success has also translated to the high school football field where he played in Medicine Hat for the Crescent Heights Vikings. In grade 10 he was the Rangeland rookie of the year nominee and all-star. In grade 11 Gregg was defensive player of the year nominee and all star. In grade 12 he was again a Rangeland all star and a member of the U18 Team Alberta who competed in the 2010 Football Canada cup.

His most memorable football experience was the 2010 Football Canada cup. “Traveling to Nova Scotia to compete in the Canada cup and coming together with 40 guys I’d never played with before.”

The most influential people in his football career were his bantam coaches. “Coaches Lloyd Bray and Guy Crawford introduced me to the sport and made it an amazing experience for me. Still to this day both of them help me in every decision I make towards me becoming a better football player.”

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
