Today’s CFC class 2011 is linebacker Joe Iatzko from the Herman Griffins, Ontario’s Western Bowl champions. Joe is a hard hitting linebackers who plays with a bit of an edge.

Joe has been playing football since the age of ten, starting all 5 years he played high school football for Herman. He was the defensive MVP of this year’s Western Bowl and has been a back to back city all star at linebacker. Joe is also a long snapper.
His most memorable football experience was this year when he recovered a fumble and returned it 55 yards for the TD.
The people who have influenced his football career most is the Herman coaching staff. They have all had their own part in helping Joe along the way. Also, Joe credits Simon Lazanja for helping him as well.
Joe is looking forward to playing at the next level, wherever that will be.
