As mentioned above Luke has been playing football since the age of 5, all with the Guelph Bears. He has come a long way as a player over that time and also believes that football has opened a lot of doors for him along the way. He was a high school all star three years in a row (2008-2010) and an OVFL all star in 2010.

His most memorable football moment was the 2007 District 10 “mud bowl” final. “We were down by 2 points in the last minute of the game and then we blocked a punt and recovered it for a touchdown. We were extreme underdogs coming into the season but we ended up coming out with a Championship.”

The most influential people in his life has always been his parents. “They got me into football at a young age and have always pushed me to be the best player I can be on and off the field. I owe them so much for taking me to practice all the time, picking me up, taking me to games, putting their money into me for new gear gloves, etc.”
“My highschool Coach Joe Camilleri has helped me out a lot weather it be hooking me up with schools or trusting me and pushing me to not only be a player for my Our Lady of Lourdes but to also be a captain and a team leader.”

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
