Max has only been playing football for four years but has had much success in that short time. After playing bantam in grade 9 Max made his high school squad in grade 10, the Riffel Royals. He started the first 2 games at offensive guard but was moved to fullback for the next 5 games. In the playoffs he was moved back to offensive line and has stayed their ever since. He was an all star offensive tackle in his grade 12 season in 2010.

Max played for the U17 Team Saskatchewan in 2009, starting at left guard. That team ended the tournament with a fourth place finish. In 2010 he started again at left guard but the team improved to winning the tournament.

Max’s most memorable experience was the aforementioned national championship. “My most memorable football experience is winning the 2010 Football Canada Cup, and all the goods times we had as a team.”

His most influential person in his football career was his grandfather. “He was always there to support me and never missed a single one of my games. When he passed away in 2010 I promised myself I would continue on playing football and continuing to get better so I could make him proud.”

Max, at 6′ and 285 lbs is very proud of his one career touchdown he had during his brief stint as a full back.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
