“The most influential people in my life are my parents. They have supported me 100% in everything that I’ve done and they’ve taught me that if you work hard enough, you can do whatever you want to. In terms of football I have to give a lot of credit to two of my minor football coaches Keith and Ed Skiffington. They taught me about toughness and discipline, and they showed me that hard work pays off. Finally my 82 year old grandfather who comes to all my games.”

David is also Student Council President and has a 91% average. David trained at the ultimate athlete factory in Halifax. David concluded his interview by saying: “I’ve been proving people wrong and exceeding and expectations since Pee Wee. After a busy offseason, I plan to do the same thing wherever I end up next year.”
