Today CFC features class 2011 running back Tarrence Crawford from Windsor, Ontario. Tarrence has been playing football since grade 8 and hopes to follow his big brother to the NCAA (Tyrone Crawford).

Tarrence has had a great 5 year football career. He started playing peewee football and then went on to the Essex Ravens and Catholic Central high school. His first 4 years he managed to find himself on championship teams. He has been a team captain and MVP all 5 years and in grade 12 he was the WECSSA league MVP. He was a first team all-city player in grade 11 and 12. He played for the OVFL Varsity champion Essex Ravens in 2010 where he was the leading rusher with 1001 yards on 115 carries and 16 touchdowns.

His most memorable experience “was winning the OVFL championship in 2010”. The Ravens made a spectacular playoff run (on the road). Tarrence and Austin Kennedy (QB) played tremendous for the offense during the playoffs.

His most influential person in his life and in his football life is “my brother Tyrone Crawford that plays for Boise State and made all American this year.”

Tarrence also plays basketball, winning 2 WECSAAA championships and participating in the OFSAA tournament one year.
