Before arriving in Lennoxville to play for the Champlain Cougars J-F starred in the Juvenille AAA league with L’Embacle. In 2009 he was a Juvenille AAA all-star and best linemen on his team. In 2010, he played for Team Quebec and the Cougars. He was named a tournament all star at the Football Canada cup.

J-F’s most memorable football experience “was the Canada Cup last summer. It was a really amazing experience. We only played football for 3 weeks, but we were always with my teammates, and to end up being on the all star team was great.”

Many people have helped J-F get to where he is now. He credits his family “because they were always there to help me in the good and bad times. Also my high school defensive coordinator Enrico Gilbert helped me develop a good work ethic.”
